Collaborative Creativity for Artists and Organisations
Established in 2008 St Margaret’s House has gone from a vacant ex-government building, to an eclectic mix of creative and artistic individuals and businesses. All under the guiding hands of Edinburgh Palette.
The aim of this charity funded initiative, is to provide affordable studio space and venues for artists, creative businesses and community projects. With over 200 studios currently occupied, their vision of a vibrant creative hub is certainly coming to pass.
Fantastic Facilities Throughout
St Margaret’s house not only provides studio and office space to artists and businesses but also offers a spectacular array of additional features including; expansive gallery and community arts space, a photography studio and dark room, meeting rooms, social hangout areas, rehearsal space and a host of studios for everything from printmaking to music recording. The venue offers everything that creative entrepreneurs and artists could require to make their passion into a livelihood.
With additional events, exhibitions and regular networking opportunities, Edinburgh Palette provides a collaborative and creative environment for creative minds and start-up businesses to flourish.

I adore the way that young people are really making Edinburgh a centre of influence.
The Interspace project is providing a platform for collaboration across those 15 incubators that we have in the city.

It's a real resource for us here in Edinburgh... I think the potential is really quite significant.
You just need to be singing your song and making a noise in this part of the world so that you attract people to work here.
